Food Project

Investigate: I had to find my pictures online and put down the food I ate last week. 

Plan: I am basically going to take my picture and replace the body parts with food.

Create: 

Evaluate: My picture is very different than what I had in mind but it still works.

RGB are the colors red blue and green they are the additives colors. Mixing these colors will give you a white color. Computer screens yse these to prouduce these by emitting light through these color.

CMYK are the colors cyan magenta and yellow to make black.  They  are subtractive colors. This is a hard to print because the  all printing inks contain some impurities & the end result tends to be a brownish color that must be combined with black to form a true black color. Because of this, not all colors that can be mixed on the computer in RGB mode can be made in real life.

FILE TYPES

Adobe Illustrator Artwork (AI) is a proprietary file format developed by Adobe Systems for representing single-page vector-based drawings in either the EPS or PDF formats. Its a file especially for Illustrator and Illuslator only. You can put it in the Internet,


JPEG  [pronounced as jay - peg] is a commonly used method of lossy compression for digital photography (image). The degree of compression can be adjusted, allowing a selectable tradeoff between storage size and image quality. Its usually used for photograph and is a bitmap type.

Portable Network Graphics  is a bitmapped image format that employs lossless data compression. PNG was created to improve upon and replace GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) as an image-file format not requiring a patent license. It lets you take the background off the image and focus on the image you want.

Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) is a family of specifications of an XML-based file format for describing two-dimensional vector graphics, both static and dynamic (i.e. interactive or animated). The SVG specification is anopen standard that has been under development by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) since 1999. SVG images and their behaviors are defined in XML text files. This means that they can be searched, indexed,scripted and, if required, compressed. Since they are XML files, SVG images can be created and edited with anytext editor, but it is often more convenient to create these types of images with drawing programs such as Inkscape. Its basically for 2 dimension and its vector.

These are only a couple of file formats for images. There's a ton of them out there. Wouldn't it just be simpler if we only had one file format for images? It could be .IMG. Why do you think we have different file formats for images?

In a way it really would be easier to just have one file type but the problem with it is just that different files are good for different images. An image can look really good in one file and look messed up on the other hence the reason why there are so many different file types .

What challenges did you encounter when creating your product?
 What the diffucult was getting the name for the jobs all aligned and ordered.  It was also hard to have everthing pretty and not overlap each other. 
How did you cope with these challenges?
I had used the rule grids to show me the straight line so I kew where I aligned everything.What went particularly well in creating your product?
What I found easy about this project that i know how to do the graph. I hand drew it.
If you were to redo the project from the very beginning, what would you do different?\
II would use different symbols to make it much more subject related and professional.
What is something you can take from this project that can aid you after its completion?

I now know where the rule grids are and I can draw other graphs all thanks to this project.

INVESTIGATE:

The problem: I have to draw an avatar of my self. I really cant get my face right so I will get a picture online to help me with the face and hair. I l so don't want to use black for my hair or eye color so I will have to play around to see what color I want.

I will use this picture because it seems to have the blank face i want with the hair. I will trace this into illustrator

What challenges did you encounter when creating your product?
At the beginning I really didn't know how to use the paint brush tool. It wouldnt do what I wanted it to do.
How did you cope with these challenges?
At the beginning I asked the teacher for help. Once he showed me my errors I played around with their brush controls and after a while i learned to get exactly what I wanted

What went particularly well in creating your product?
 I realy liked  the hair I am really proud of that I had to ask help in order to change the color and get the skin-tone right but once i did I knew exactly what I was doing.

If you were to redo the project from the very beginning, what would you do different?
My picture seems ok but if I could go back then I would use a diffrent face because there is too much negative space. I wanted to do like a backround but I didnt think I could finish it on time. 

What is something you can take from this project that can aid you after its completion?
Because of this project I know exactly how to manipulate the brush tool since I used it so much.
